I've finally managed to have a cycle around Grimsby docks - every time I've tried before I've run into the security boxes that make you feel that you're trespassing, when all you are doing is taking an interest in your town's history. Such is the nature of land ownership, as these days Grimsby docks is owned by ABP. I've managed to take a few shots of the dereliction that hangs over this once busy and thriving area. I'm trying to square in my head whether these building are just as beautiful in their states of being slowly reclaimed by nature, or whether I'm outraged by their neglect. I'm hoping once I've painted them I can give them back some of their majesty!
