I first began doing an illustrated journal in January 2016. Back then I would take 3 months to fill each A4 landscape sketchbook. Since January 2020 I've had more time to dedicate to these books, as since September 2020 I've been working as a professional artist. I've now just finished volume 69 and started volume 70, which is something of a landmark. In 3 and a half years I've filled more than 50 books, and used the illustrations in them to publish sketchbooks about the Humberston Fitties, Cleethorpes and Grimsby, as well as an A4 Garden Sketchbook. I can't imagine life without it being documented in my sketchbooks now!
