Clay creations

One of the lovely air-dry clay models.

This summer I've been lucky to have been asked to deliver a selection of workshops. They are usually paper-based, but I did a couple of air-dry clay sessions this summer. One with Coritani Creative, as part of their Fuelled delivery at the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe and one with the Fishing Heritage Centre working with their Heritage Heroes. The brief was to create a bird and its nest using clay and lots of different materials. The results were really impressive. I'm never failed to be blown away the individual, creative and unique responses that both children and adults come up with when given the same artistic prompt.
