Like many people I have a battered folder full of recipes that I've collected over the years, cut-outs from magazines, scribbled notes from friends, print-outs of screen shots. It's been a long-term ambition to turn some of my favourites into a book of illustrated recipes, but I've never got around to it. But, as luck would have it I've been commissioned to work on a project in October that's all about me illustrating other people's recipes. So, as a practice I've illustrated one of my favourite recipes - apple flapjack pudding! I'm really pleased with it, and hoping it will spur me on to do this with lots more of my recipes!
