Oh dear, door!

The blue door is a pretty important part of the chalet - not just because it keeps the rain out, but also because it's a fundamental part of The House with the Blue Door's identity. I knew it needed a bit of a work, so at the weekend I thought I'd give it a bit of a paint and sand. I felt some soft wood and thought that there might be a bit of damp - it turns out it was a really big bit of damp and it had to come off. Hence Saturday was spending borrowing kit from neighbours (Mark at the Fitties and Chez at home!) and by the time it had got dark we'd got a fixed, damp free door back on. Thanks to the ever-amazing Mr Blue Door who did a stella job in trying circumstances. x
