The weather was glorious at the weekend, so I headed down to the Fitties beach with my bag of painting gear and spent some time in the dunes painting the paddleboarders and looking over to the fort. Later on I moved to sit on one of the benches on the cliff top to capture the whale back as it was slowly eaten away by the tide. A glorious golden comma in the middle of the gentle rhythm of the waves. I feel priviledged to have been able to have this space to come to, to breath, during the lockdown year. To be able to look at where the horizon meets the sky and enjoy an escape to the soundtrack of the soft inhales and exhales of the tide.
