I've spent the last couple of days catching up on my sketchbooks. I have an annoying habit of getting to the end of a book and leaving some pages/drawings unfinished or blank. This means that the lounge ends up littered with sketchbooks that need completing. Yesterday I finished five off and been able to put them on the sketchbook shelf that's now got 66 books on it, and all feels better with the world! This drawing is one of those that needed finishing. It's York Museum Gardens with daffodils that I should have done in April when my partner and I visited. Got some pigment-based paints and they have worked very well on the sky and the luminous daffs in the front of the picture! x
